Halloween Blue Moon on October 31, 2020
This Halloween night was smothered in clouds. The landscape was deep in shadows.
The streets were quiet lacking the usual joyful sounds of children going house to house
to collect candy due to the Pandemic. The ghost-like moon struggled to penetrate the
clouds. When it did it would cast a gray stain across the black landscape. It was the
second full moon of the month (a Blue Moon) which on its own is considered ill favored
in folklore. The moon set the mood this Halloween of the Pandemic and people's fears
in the outcome of the presidential election. A strange Halloween indeed.
