NGC 7044 & NGC 7128 -- Open Clusters in Cygnus
Two Small, Herschel 400, Open Clusters in the Swan
Only on the best of nights would I attempt to find NGC 7044 with the small refractor.  Under
a transparent, moonless night at a local Park, it manifested itself only as a uniform faint
spherical smudge of light.  The Open Cluster, NGC 7128 was considerably easier on the
eyes.  About 6 of its stars could be resolved by the telescope and its background haze of
unresolved stars was much brighter.
