Struve 392 -- Double Star in Perseus
Struve 392 – Yellow & Blue Gems in Perseus
Double Stars are little affected by the Full Moon.  As the moon blazed just south of Perseus
along the border of Gemini and Taurus, it could basically be ignored as I moved from one
double star to the next during the evening of December 28, 2020.

Struve 392 is easily separated in any sized telescope (25.8 arcseconds of separation).
The primary’s golden color and the secondary’s pale blue color make it a pleasing pair in
the eyepiece.  A triangle of dimmer white stars surrounds the colorful double adding nicely
to the view.
