Christmas Comet of 2018
After a wonderful Christmas Day with the family, I was blessed with clear skies before
the bright moon rise in the East. The weather forecast had not predicted clearing until
after the moon was up. Under a moonless sky, Comet 46P Wirtanen was a fine sight. It
would have been hard to find a nicer way to close out the already successful day.
