Comet (C/2017 T2 PANSTARRS) in Perseus
Comet North of the Double-Cluster
I have been waiting for the night sky over my house to recover from the now set crescent moon.
It was well worth the wait.  Comet c/2017 T2 (Panstarrs) was shining around magnitude 9 and
was passing north of the famous
Double-Cluster (h Persei & Chi Persei).  For the drawing of the
cluster I used a low power eyepiece (27x) and for the comet higher powers of 84x and 232x.
The drawing is a combination of views through the 155mm refractor of all three magnifications.
