C/2017 T2 (PANSTARRS) -- Comet in Ursa Major
A Big Dipper Comet
I was pleasantly surprised that the current comet near the Big Dipper (C-2017 T2
PANSTARRS) was so easy to pickup from my backyard, with the 155mm refractor.
This was even with a gibbous moon flooding the night sky with moonlight. I was not
able to tease out the tail, but the coma was big and obvious in the eyepiece.
