M 2 (NGC 7089) -- Globular Cluster in Aquarius
I find the magnificent globular cluster M2 in my 155mm refractor to be stunning.  This ball of
100,000+ stars is located in a star-poor region of the constellation Aquarius. Under high
power the fuzzy ball explodes into countless stars that flicker in and out of visibility -- as if
the cluster is reluctant to give up its secrets.
