M85 and Companion
The massive Lenticular Galaxy M85 is actively interacting with the Barred Spiral Galaxy,
NGC 4394. Both appear side by side about 8 arcminutes from each other, with little effort
in the 110mm refractor. With 400 billion solar masses, M85 outshines the nearby Spiral
by nearly two magnitudes.
