I drew Mars this morning. The seeing was not all that bad but I wish I could have put a
bit more magnification on it. Syrtis Major is the dark area in the middle of the planet and
the white oval beneath it is Hellas, the largest impact area on Mars. It is currently
covered in frost which gives it a bright white color. The North Polar Cap was present but
not that easy to make out.
