Three Galaxies near the Silver Streak
The Uranometria 2000 star atlas shows about a dozen galaxies near the Silver Streak
Galaxy (NGC 4216). With the 155mm refractor under suburban skies, I could only see the
three brightest and they were pushing the limits of the telescope and observer. Their soft
glows showed no detail, but their presence near the Silver Streak Galaxy added to the
observing experience.
