NGC 7063 -- Open Cluster in Cygnus
NGC 7063 is unremarkable through smaller telescopes.  However, at magnitude 7
one expects more. It is only eight of the clusters brighter stars that ups the
magnitude reading.  In my 110mm refractor I can count another half-dozen or so
dimmer stars belonging to the cluster but nowhere near the total of the 66+ stars
that are true members of NGC 7063 (according to the literature). Even more
surprising is that I do not get the faint haze of unresolved stars below the resolution
of my telescope that I often get with other star clusters that have dim members.  It is
a cluster that looks more impressive in the star atlases than through the eyepiece.
