For many amateur astronomers their initial start in the hobby was their first view
of Saturn. How many times have I heard, first time viewers of Saturn, remark that
what they are seeing can't be real? The ringed planet is always a delight and one
that I am forever thankful that someone showed me as a pre-teenager. I have
owned a telescope ever since. It is a sight that never disappoints, even after 50+
years of observing it.
