Sigma Coronae Borealis -- Multiple Star System
Three of Five
Through my 6-inch telescope three of the five stars belonging to the Sigma Coronae
Borealis System can be seen. This star-system contains three sun-like stars and two
low-mass stars. The brightest star in the drawing is really a double star (both sun-like)
that are too close for me to split. One of the low-mass stars is at 2 o’clock from the
bright pair, the other is too dim for my telescope.
