Struve 369 -- Double Star in Perseus
The Double Star -- Struve 369
Struve 369 is a pretty yellow and blue double star located just 2 ¼ degrees southeast of the
famous
Demon Star (Algol -- beta Persei).  With a separation of only 3.5 arcseconds a
moderate amount of magnification is needed.  My 60mm f9 achromatic refractor can split it
if the atmosphere is kind.  In my 155mm f7 apochromatic refractor (used for the drawing) the
split is easy.
